Alix has conceived and realised the complete renovation of a remarkable 650 sq m Grade I-listed townhouse on Hanover Terrace overlooking Regent’s Park. The owners wished for the interiors to feel soft and feminine in character, a gentle counterpoint to the grandeur of the historic architecture.

Across five bedrooms and a sequence of generous reception rooms, Alix introduced a palette of warm neutrals layered with blush and powder pink tones, bringing warmth and subtle colour to the classical proportions of the house. Curved lines and sculptural forms appear throughout the interiors, softening the rigour of the architecture and creating a more fluid rhythm between the rooms.

Alongside the principal entertaining spaces, the house also includes a large family room, muse house with office, guest bedroom and spa/gym.

The result is a refined family home that balances the elegance of a historic London terrace with a lighter and more intimate interior atmosphere.
